Ilgiz Baymuratov, General Director of FinExpertiza Network, took part in IV GRC Forum ‘Thomson Reuters’

The forum participants discussed issues of relations between internal audit and owners, new approaches in KYC, changes in the internal audit function, operational risks and other.
Ilgiz Baymuratov as a moderator set the tone for the discussion in the section devoted to the transformation of internal audit. He said, "The plenary session aroused a broad discussion, which continued after the forum. The participants touched upon the differences in internal audit and compliance, the difference in the role of inspectors and internal auditors, as well as the need for the transformation from one status to another. The participants shared their experience, and the unity between the problems of Russia and other countries was confirmed during the discussion. Representatives of state and private companies, experts and advisors, representatives of regulators were among the speakers. As a result, an integral evolution picture as to the internal audit role was formed", told Ilgiz Baymuratov. He said, "We should admit that, given the time limitations of the forum, the accents have not been placed on the issues, I hope that we can find common answers in future meetings".
The forum ‘Thomson Reuters’ was held for the fourth time and invariably attracts leading experts and managers, as well as practitioners. Representatives of the largest auditing networks such as Deloitte, KPMG, FinExpertiza Network, Pepeliaev Group, entities from all spheres such as Sberbank, Alfa Bank, Bank of Russia, Skolkovo Foundation, Rosneft Oil Company, MTS, Metallinvest, Vnesheconombank and representatives of governmental and regulatory bodies took part in the forum.
