Big sums of money are transferred from Russia through the Novosibirsk Oblast. Since 2015, his region has been stably ranked second after Moscow and Moscow Oblast in terms of money transfers by natural persons from Russia. Experts believe money goes to China and Kazakhstan.

Probably, natural persons made cash transfers from to the Novosibirsk Oblast to China, since the region has always kept close contact with this country. In the post-crisis 2009 more than a half of cash transfers to China were accounted for by three subjects of the Russian Federation, one of which was the Novosibirsk Oblast.
